Internet Access

Express Internet Stations

  • Usage is limited to 15 minutes at a time.
  • Machine use is first come, first served.
  • After your 15 minutes is finished, please go to the end of the line or wait five minutes before returning to the machine.
  • Machines have 15 minute timing software; please finish and close your Internet session before the software closes it for you.
  • Black and white printer is available (see below).
  • Please be considerate. Manners and the honor system dictate the use of these machines.

One-hour Internet Stations

  • Maximum use is one hour per day.
  • Sign-up is available up to one week in advance, in person or by telephone, 307-733-2164.
  • Patrons arriving more than five minutes late may lose their appointments.
  • Black and white printer is available (see below).
  • Software available on Internet machines.

Printing

  • Black and white printing is available at 15 cents per single-sided page. The first four sides printed from the Internet are free.
  • Patrons are responsible for paying for all print jobs, successful or otherwise. Please make use of the "Print Preview" feature.
  • No color printing is available.

Youth Services Internet

  • Internet access for users 18 years old and younger is also available from Youth Services.
  • Maximum use in the Library is one hour per day.

Internet Policies

The Teton County Library provides free public access to the Internet as an informational, educational and recreational resource. The Library supports intellectual freedom. We do not filter or censor World Wide Web content. The Teton County Library supports the American Library Association's statement on Access to Electronic Information, Services and Networks and its Library Bill of Rights.

Patrons are advised that some Web sites contain material that may be considered offensive, illegal and/or inaccurate.

Teton County Library computers can be used only for legal purposes; engaging in disruptive or illegal conduct will result in suspension of computer privileges. Out of respect for other library users, the staff reserves the right to require the use of privacy screens.

Children of preschool and elementary age must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/guardians must assume responsibility for their children's use of Library computers and the Internet.
