Teton County Library Board Continued Meeting
Anne Ladd, Treasurer, calls the meeting to order. Present is board member Clark Heindl, Director Deb Adams, Facility Manager Dail Barbour and Mick Edelen, Senior Project Manager from Shaw Construction. Board Member Lisa Delaney attended by phone.
Dail and Mick present the results of the bidding process and the cuts made to reach the library budget for Alta. Both expressed surprise that there were so few bids in several areas and that some came in very high. However, Mick is continuing to negotiate with subcontractors to try to get a better deal in some areas.
Dail then asked the board to approve the following documents which were reviewed in person by Lisa before the board meeting so that she could participate in the vote. Anne moved to approve the following:
1. Construction phase documents provided by Humphries Poli Architects as listed:
• Project Manual dated 3/23/09
• Construction Drawings dated 3/23/09
2. Addendum No. 1 dated April 10, 2009 detailing current modifications and/or options for the project.
3. Structural Addendum No. 1 dated April 30, 2009 detailing current modifications and/or options for the project.
4. An application from Shaw Construction for partial payment of design and engineering fees in the amount of $50,949.95.
5. Shaw Construction Budget Status Log dated April 30, 2009.
Clark seconded, all voted in favor.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30PM.
