Services for Disabled & Homebound
Books on Wheels: Books on Wheels is a volunteer service that delivers library materials to patrons at their homes who are unable to come to the Library for health or physical reasons. Check out the volunteer site for more information.
Text magnifier: This device is available for the vision-challenged and located in the Computer and Information Center. The machine greatly enlarges text and images from books or other printed materials. This machine is available without sign-up during all library hours.
Electric wheelchair: This motorized chair has an attached book basket and is driven by controls on the handlebars. It is located in the library’s lobby and available during all library hours.
Wheelchair: This standard non-motorized chair is located in the library’s lobby and available during all library hours.
Book baskets: These are located near the Front Desk and can be used in the library while collecting library materials for check out, and also be checked out for easy transportation home.
