Enhance programs, outreach and collections for the young adult and senior populations.
Programs Objectives
- Utilize the experience and expertise of our teens and seniors to make our programs relevant
- Focus further development of programing on the needs and wants of high school age and adult senior patrons.
Outreach Objectives
- Develop training for staff about the best ways to work with and adapt to seniors and teens as a means to enhancing our programs, collections and services.
- Collaborate with community agencies and groups serving teens and seniors to collect, share, and disseminate information on relevant topics.
- Develop services to meet the needs of older adults and teens unable to visit the library.
Collections Objectives
- Expand the collections of information and resources in topics relevant to teens and seniors
- Consider possibilities for collaboration on collections for teens and seniors
- Explore possibilities for upgrading the ease-of-delivery, on-demand collections for teens and seniors.
