One-hour Computer Stations - Reserve a Computer

     
  • Maximum use is one hour per day.
    •  
  • Sign-up is available up to one week in advance, in person, through our Web site, or by telephone, 307-733-2164.
    •  
  • Patrons arriving more than five minutes late may lose their appointments.
    •  
  • Black and white or color printers are available.
    •  
  • Software available includes Internet browsers, Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Office Suite, and Picasa. In addition, two of the computers have Microsoft Works, WordPerfect, resume software, and software for typing practice. One computer has Adobe Acrobat Standard and WordMagic.

 

Express Internet Stations

     
  • Usage is limited to 15 minutes at a time.
    •  
  • Machine use is first come, first served.
    •  
  • After your 15 minutes is finished, please go to the end of the line or wait five minutes before returning to the machine.
    •  
  • Machines have 15 minute timing software; please finish and close your Internet session before the software closes it for you.
    •  
  • Black and white or color printers are available.
  • Software available includes read only versions of Adobe, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
    •  
  • Please be considerate. Manners and the honor system dictate the use of these machines.

 

Scanner and Microfilm/Microfiche Reader

  • Flatbed scanner allows saving files to USB flashdrive or burning to a CD.
  • There is no internet access on this computer.
  • View, scan, and print microfilm, microfiche, and slides.
  • Black and white or color printers are available.

 

Printing

     
  • Black and white printing is available at a cost of 15 cents per single-sided page. The first four sides of black and white printing per day are free. Color printing is also available at a cost of 75 cents per single-sided page.
    •  
  • Patrons are responsible for paying for all print jobs, successful or otherwise. Please make use of the “Print Preview” feature.

 

Audiovisual Equipment

     
  • Television monitors with a VCR or DVD are available for up to two hours per day.
    •  
  • One audiotape and CD listening station is available for up to two hours per day.
    •  
  • Reservations for audiovisual equipment are taken up to one week in advance, in person or by telephone, 307-733-2164.

 

Typewriters

     
  • Typewriters are available for up to two hours per day.
    •  
  • Typewriter reservations are taken up to one week in advance, in person or by telephone, 307-733-2164.
