Library addition and renovation construction will take approximately 15-18 months. The library will continue to serve the public throughout the project, maintaining its regular hours, seven days a week, with the exception of occasional closures over holidays or long weekends, including the upcoming Labor Day weekend. The library will close five days Saturday, Sept. 3 through Wednesday, Sept. 7 to rearrange the interior spaces and make room for construction and will resume regular library hours Thursday, Sept. 8, opening at 10 a.m.
Beginning Sept. 8, the library’s main entrance will temporarily move to the northwest corner of the building, currently the staff entrance, while the new entrance is configured and constructed. Signage will direct library patrons from the temporary parking lot to the temporary entrance.
