Teton County Library’s Mountain Story Festival

Join us for the first ever Mountain Story Festival! This new, annual event celebrates the passions and pursuits of Jackson Hole readers, showcasing stories and storytellers inspired by alpine landscapes.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1963 American Mount Everest Expedition, this year’s festival explores the past, present and future of the tallest peak on Earth.

Gallery Exhibits at Teton County Library: May 10 – June 15

Jimmy Chin: Glimpses of Shangri La Teton County Library proudly presents a collection of mountain images taken by mountaineer Jimmy Chin, one of the most renowned and respected adventure sports photographers and filmmakers working today.
Molly Loomis: Sounds of the Sherpa Audio stories recorded by local journalist and photographer Molly Loomis bring to life the language of Khumbu.
