Two sessions: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. Come meet Brian Brush, the artist of the library’s new public art installation in two informal sessions. Get an opportunity to see the installation-in-progress and find out first-hand how “Filament Mind” was conceived and, once complete, will resemble a luminous “connectome,” or map, of synaptic brain activity, firing away the thoughts of people extended through the mind of the library. Library staff will be on hand to answer your questions about the public art selection process of this privately-funded project. Find out more about the project
