The blue construction fence is down at the front of the library’s new entrance so you can really see what’s taking shape there! We’re redoing the Virginian Lane sidewalk along the building, and bases for benches along the sidewalk are in as well as light bases. The backyard drainage basin is getting graded while the irrigation system installation is nearly complete. Shrubbery for the parking lot will come around the end of June; already trees are dotting the lot in the medians. Construction manager GE Johnson is anticipating that we can get conditional occupancy of the new wing by June 8, which means our IT team can get in there to start getting technology set up there in preparation for the new wing opening on July 7!
Please note upcoming library closure & new wing opening party!
