Jackson, WY- Teton County Alta Branch Library’s Audio Book Club will resume its weekly acoustical encounters, meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning Jan. 10, 2013. This club brings families together to revel in book dramas and adventures.
The Alta Audio Book Club will kick off the New Year with the story, “The Once and Future King” by T.S. White. This fantasy classic serves up a masterful retelling of the saga of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. This age-old tale of adventure, romance, and magic enchants readers young and old alike. Join this audio adventure by simply coming to the library, sitting back and listening. For those with busy hands, feel free to bring a craft to work on while enjoying this classic tale.
“It’s a lot like sitting around a fire and sharing a mesmerizing experience together,” says Gretchen Notzold, Alta Branch Library Manager. Notzold eagerly awaits these fun, weekly encounters as much as her club members do.
This free book club is open to ages 8 to adults. New participants are always welcome, and no sign-up is required. Members provide simple snacks and desserts while the library provides beverages to enjoy. For information, contact Notzold at or 307-353-2505, Alta Branch Library, 50 Alta School Rd.
