What it is:

“Book trailers” are short original videos or web mashups like movie trailers but about your favorite book! They can be anything that you can imagine, from author interviews to short stories to a PowerPoint presentation. The only criteria is that they be short (no more than two minutes), original, and about a book. Book Trailers use multimedia such as images, video, animation, music and words to compel the viewer to read the book. They must be persuasive, engaging, captivating and exciting. You can be the star! Rules: o All videos must be submitted on CD/ DVD for judging purposes, and they may also be submitted via email. Any entry not accompanied by a CD/DVD will be disqualified. All entries must be accompanied by an entry form. Entries will not be returned.

  • Deadline for all entries is Friday, October 21st, at 5:00pm.
  • No video will be more than two minutes in length.
