FREE FEDERAL INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE

5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
First come, first served.
Taxpayers will qualify for the service based on their earned annual income.
The following will be used as an eligibility guideline:

The Free Tax Assistance program assists low income workers with free
filing of
federal tax returns to ensure that they receive Earned Income Tax Credit
(EITC)
and Child Tax Credit (CTC) when eligible.
Volunteers will provide basic tax preparation and electronic filing for
qualifying households. Tax forms that will most likely be filed include:
* Form 1040 EZ
* Form 1040 A
* Form 1040
* Schedule A - Itemized Deductions
The following documents are required by applicants and must be brought
with the applicant to the tax preparation site:
- a copy of last year's tax return (if available)
- correct birth date for all individuals listed on the return
- Social Security numbers (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification
Numbers (ITIN)
- W-2 or 1099 form for each job held during the year being filed
- Original or copy of filer's valid Driver's License or Identification
card
- If filing jointly, spouse must be present
- Copy of last year's return, if available
- If applicable, copy of notice verifying receipt of Advance Child Tax
Credit Refund (return cannot be completed without verification of the
refund amount received). Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to verify any
refund amount received.
