Do you want to give your opinion about what events our library offers foryou?
Do you want to help plan and volunteer at library events?
Do you want to help suggest books, movies, video games, magazines and graphic novels for the teen section?
The Young Adult Board consists of teens in grades 6 to 12. We have many board members including five officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sergeant at Arms. Each board member serves on a committee: YA Advertising & Distribution, YA Event Managers, YAVolunteens (ages 14+), Book Buzz Assistants, or YA Web Page Techies. The board meets the second Tuesday of every month during the school year to give suggestions, help plan teen events and give back to the community through volunteerism.*
This year, the Young Adult Board is also involved in a "Book of Mix" project, which will highlight local teen artistic talent to the community. Join us each month in the Teton County Library Ordway Auditorium from 6-7 p.m. to check it out, share some ideas and meet other teens from around the Hole. Registration is required. To register or send questions: email the Young Adult Coordinator at youngadults@TCLib.org or call 733-2164 ext. 103.
*Please be aware that all final decisions about programming and services at the Teton County Library will be made by Teton County Library staff, taking into account the library's mission, staff time, budget and community appeal, among other considerations.
